Depending on the service you use, your personal data may be processed in two main contexts:
Conducting recruitment and candidate-evaluation processes; assessing your applications; matching you with suitable positions.
In this service, you share your own public LinkedIn profile link with us. The public content of your profile is retrieved through a third-party data-retrieval (profile-fetch) service, processed through an AI-powered analysis, and you are provided with profile-optimization suggestions, a visibility assessment and a career roadmap. If you wish, you may add your profile to the OdiHire talent pool (subject to explicit consent).
Your personal data is processed on the KVKK Art. 5/2 (and where necessary Art. 6) legal ground stated for each purpose below:
| Purpose | Legal Ground (KVKK) |
|---|---|
| Creating an account, identity verification, generating and providing the profile analysis/optimization suggestions you request; retrieving and analyzing your LinkedIn URL | Art. 5/2-c — Establishment/performance of a contract |
| Conducting recruitment processes, application evaluation, position matching | Art. 5/2-c — Performance of a contract; Art. 5/2-f — Legitimate interest |
| Payment processing, invoicing, accounting/tax obligations | Art. 5/2-c — Performance of a contract; Art. 5/2-ç — Legal obligation |
| Service notifications (verification code, "your analysis is ready", payment/transaction notices) | Art. 5/2-c — Performance of a contract |
| Security, fraud prevention, system logging, service improvement | Art. 5/2-f — Legitimate interest |
| Joining the OdiHire talent pool; sending marketing/commercial electronic messages | Art. 5/1 — Explicit consent (+ Law No. 6563 / İYS consent) |
| Transfer of data to providers abroad (where no appropriate safeguard exists) | Art. 9 — Appropriate safeguards or explicit consent (see Section 5) |
In the Odi service, profile analysis is performed entirely by automated artificial-intelligence systems. The resulting score, suggestions and inferences are advisory in nature; they do not constitute a binding decision that produces legal effects concerning you or significantly affects you. Under Article 11(g) of the KVKK, you have the right to object to a result that arises against you solely through the analysis of your data by automated systems. The fact that the analysis is generated by artificial intelligence is clearly disclosed in this notice and in the service interface.
Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be shared with the following categories of recipients (our service providers act as data processors, solely on our instructions):
| Data Category | Retention Period |
|---|---|
| Account and profile-analysis data | While your account is active; destroyed within a reasonable period after an account-closure request |
| Application / candidate data | Until the recruitment process concludes; destroyed at the end of the process if there is no consent |
| Talent pool | 2 years if explicit consent is given (or until consent is withdrawn) |
| Payment / invoice records | For the period required by applicable (tax, commercial) legislation |
| Security / activity logs | A reasonable period as required by legitimate interest and legislation |
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you have the right to:
For consent-based activities (the talent pool, commercial electronic messages, and consent-based transfers abroad, if any), you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal takes effect prospectively; the relevant processing stops from the moment it reaches us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You may also stop commercial messages via the opt-out option included in each message.
To exercise your rights, you may apply through the channels below. Your requests are concluded at the latest within 30 days, depending on the nature of the request. It is free of charge unless the operation incurs an additional cost; the cases in the tariff set by the Board are reserved (no fee is charged for up to ten pages).
